Wellington Election.—To-morrow-will be polling day for Wellington City in the General Assembly,
The s.s. Star of the South left the Iron Pot at 3.30 this afternoon for a trial trip round the Bay, which we hope will prove a favorable one. Public Works, Taupo Boad.— We would draw the attention ot those concerned to an advertisement calling for tenders for important public works on the Taupo line of road.
Dissolution of the Provincial Council. —•Our morning contemporary understands that the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay was dissolved on Saturday, the 4th inst., and that the wiits will be received by the first mail.
