DUNEDIN.
Monday, Jan. 23. The midwife Waterhouse has been arrested on a charge of manslaughter. The Rev. Dr. Burns, one of the founders of the Province, died this morning, aged 76 years.
The annual general meeting qf the Napier Land and Building Society, No 2, takes place this evening at 8 o'clock. Auckland Files to the 17th instant arp to hand. We must hold over extracts lentil to-jnonw.
