Friday, Jan. 13. The criminal sittings of the Circuit Court commenced yesterday. Margaret Quigley was indicted for the murder of George Patcnude at Noble's, Grey dis* trict. The jury brought in a verdict of manslaughter. She was sentenced to four years' penal servitude.— David Souter, indicted for the murder of Mary Ann ITonul, was found guilty on the capital charge, with recommendation to mercy. He was sentenced to death, on hearing which he fainted on the floor of the court The Judge held out no hopes of his life being spared.
