Saturday, Jan. 7. At a dinner given to Dr Featherston at the Club on Thursday night, thai gentleman announced that he had that afternoon accepted the office of AgentGeneral for the Colony. It is generally believed that he goes home in about two months. Mr Branjgan proceeds to Taupo today to make his annual tour of inspection of the posts.
