JANTTABY. 4-r-Napier, s.s., 44 tons, W. Bendall, from Whakaki, with 55 bales sheepskins, 80 sides bacon, 80 hams, 80 jowls, 13 casks pork, 40 casks tallow, Watt Brothers, (agents). CLEARED OUTWARDS. JANUARY. 4—Napier, s.s., 44 tons, W. Bendall, for Blackhead, with 30 bags flour, 7 gunnies and % cask sugar, 2 half-chests, 1 box raisins, 1 bag currants, 1 cask, 19 packages, 1 jar vinegar, 2 bags, 1 case kerosine, 2 boxes, 7 bags sundries, 4 cases beer, Watt Brothers.—Watt Brothers, agents. The s.s Napier, Capt. Bendall, left NapiVr at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, 2nd inst., for Wairoa, Whakaki, and Mahia, with cargo and passengers. Arrived o|F Wairoa at 3 p.m., but the bar being bad, proceeded pn to Mahia. Landed Messrs. Walker and Morecroft, and §1 rams, stores, &c. Left Mahia at 4 a.m. yesterday, and proceeded to Whakaki, where she shipped a quantity of tallow, sheepskins, &c, and left at 1 p.m. the same day. Arrived off Wairoa at 2.30 p.ip.; came to an anchor, and sent the boat ashore with mails, #O.; there being only 4 feet of water on the bar, could not get inside with the steamer. Left Wairoa at 4 p.m., and proceeded off Waihua to fill up with wool, but the surf bejng too heavy to work the boats, proceeded on to Napier under easy steam, and arrived in the Iron Pot at 12 o'clock last night.—The Napier leaves for Blackhead this evening. The schooner Colonist, for Tauranga, with pattle, will proceed tp sea as soon as the weather permitß. The W.R. Oo.'s s.B. Taranaki, Captain E. Wheeler, left Wellington for this port at 10 minutes past 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, but had not made her appearance up to the time we went to press, heavy northerly weather having prpbably caused her detention.
