Renner, left Napier at 8 p.m. on the 15th inst.; called at Cape Turnagain the next morning, but was unable to land cargo; proceeded thence to Castle Point the same day and took in 52 bales of wool j left there &t 3 p.m. on tfye \Qth, with a fine N.Vf. breeze, which continued Until nearly midnight, when off Cape Palliser, the wind chopped suddenly round to the S.W. and blew a furious gale, compelling the vessel {to bear up for shelter; arrived at Castle Point at 8 a.m. on the 17th inst., and remained there until 7 P-m. pn the 18th. Experienced moderate southerly winds thence to Wel'ington, arriving there at 10 a.m. on the 19th. Left again at 12.30 pm. on the 20th (yesterday) ; had fresh N.W. to S.W. winds d/aring the greater part of the passage; called off Cape Turnagain at daylight this morning, but was again u.nable to land pn account of heavy B.E. sea ; proceeded on her voyage, and arrived here at 1 o'clock this afternoon.—We have to thank Capt. Renner for late filea. The brigantine Flirt, for Lyttelton, and the echponer Herp and ketch Mary Ann Hudson, for Wairoa, all leave port to night. The s.s. Napier, for Mahia and Poverty Bay, left port this afternoon, and will return to-morrow.
