The brig Deva, from Noumea, New (Caledonia, bound to Newcastle, has been abandoned at sea in a sinking condition. The crew have been saved. Mr Sutton, the Magistrate, has been .committed to take his trial for indecently assaulting a child. Fiji (via Sydney). The steamer Auckland struck on a reef ,w,hile entering Suva harbor. She was fuil of passengers at the time, but no lives were lost. H.jVJLS. Rosario was there at the t.iaie and rendered assistance. The Rosario had been previously .ashore, but was got off undamaged.
