The s.s. Rangatira, Capt. Renner, left Wellington at 7.30 a.m. yesterday, and arrived here at 11 a.m. to-day. Experienced N.E. wind th'*oU'2hout, with heavy sea as far as pape Tumagain, and smooth water from ±hence to port. Capt. Renner reports that Mrs Fisher, one of the passengers, when going on board the Rangatira at Wellington at 11 o'clock on Tuesday night, fell overboard between the wharf and the vessel, but was fortunately rescued by two or three of the men belonging to the steamer. —The Rangatira is announced to steam for Wellington at seven o'clock to-night, and may be expected to return to thjs port about Tuesday next. The s.s. Keera steamed for Auckland last night with a cargo of cattle and sheep. The ketph Why Not leaves for- Waf raarama to night, arid will return with a cargo'of wool. The s.s. Omep was to Jeave Melbourne for Hokitika on the 10th inst.
