A Sydney telegram of November 30, states that " Henry Kendall, the poet, is supposed to be insane." Chang, the giant, on his departure from Wellington was accompanied b/ a triumphal procession, and followed by a brass band. A Melbourne telegram of the 24;h Nov. says:— ** A firm here is reported to have been empowered to negociate with the Government for a line of steamers to run between Australia and California, making Melbourne the terminus."
