Heavy Bain has fallen since our last issue. Wool in large quantities has arrived at the port during the past week. An Outrigger Skiff, built by Mr C. Days, was sold by auction to-day by Bou'tledge, Kennedy and Co. for the sum of <£3 15s, Mr H. Beukers being the purchaser. Sudden I}eath.—By the schooner Three Brothers to-day we hear that Mr iFohn Charles, landlord of the Coinmerpial Hotel, Port Ahuriri, died suddenly at Porangahau on Thursday night last.
