THE HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

TO TUB EDITOR OE THE HAWKE's BAY TIMES. Sir,--A letter having reference to the late Horticultural Show appears in today's Herald with ray signature. Such a weak and silly effusion bears internal evidence of being a forgery, and I am taking steps to expose the author of the fabrication. If written by one of the gentlemen whom the Secretary of the Society has hitherto refrained from exposing, he may find to his cost that forgery is a more serious joke than stealing fruit.—l am, &c, •J. EL. Goudy, Napier, Dee. 6, 1870.
