The Pilotage .Receipts at this port for the month ending 30fch November amounted to £B2 19s 10d. We understand the following men will represent the Napier Volunteer Artillery in the forthcoming Colonial Prize Firing :—Bandsmen Hooper and Wallace, and Gunner Hollo way. Erratum.—An error oj unusual magnitude appeared in our yesterday's impression. In the first line of second column of third page, " a penalty of Jgloo, ooo per year" should read, "a penalty of £I,OOO per year." No doubt some of our readers were surprised at the enormous penalty under which the Qontractoirs were to bind themselves

Resident Magistrate's Court.— No cases this morning. The Customs Receipts at this porfc for the month ending 30th November amounted to £1,956 13s Gd. Capture op Williams.—The third out of the four runaway prisoners has now been arrested. On Tuesday last a Maori belonging to Hapuka's pa met on the road, not far from the settlement, a Pakeha, dirty and fatigued, who asked him the road to Napier. He told him, but after leaving him became suspicious that he was one of the escaped prisoners. Taking another native with him he went and invited the stranger to come and have some kai, and while he hesitated about accepting the invitation, asked him plainly if he was Williams. He replied in the affirmative, and followed them to the pa without resistance. He was unarmed, having lost both carbine and revolver. Yesterday he was brought down in Cobb's coach. Dureen is still at large, but his whereabouts being almost exactly known by the natives, his capture is daily ex* pected.
