The Rangatira leave* for Wellington and PiGton tq lyorrow, at 2 p.m. Wool is now beginning to arrive pveity freely at the port. Mr John Stuart announces a trade sale for Friday The. weather torday has been rather chilly, with occasional showers of rain. A long Taranaki telegram, received to-day, arrived too late for insertion. Much interesting matter is also unavoidably held over.
Resident Magistrate's Court.—r This morning the following cases came before the Court; — H. Williams v. Henqre T^omoana —a claim of £23 15s on a promissory nate.-r-Liability admitted, and judgment for amount and <£l 5s costs. I£irkpatrich v. claim for damages for injury done to a horse. —Postponed until after the other business of the day was disponed of. M'Kinnon v. WQrgan.—A claim of £2O damages for breach of contract. Mr Stedman appeared for the plaintiff; Mr Lee for the defendant. Evidence was taken in this case at considerable length, and it was not concluded when our reporter left the court.
