(agents.) The s.B. Lord Ashley, from Tauranga and Auckland, dropped anchor in the roadstead at 7 o'clock last evening. Captain Andrews reports having left Auckland at 6.20 p.m. on Monday, 7th inst., and arrived at Taurapga at 9 a.m. on Tuesday; left again at noon the same day; rounded the East Cape at 1.20 a.m. on Wednesday, and Portland Island at 1 p.m. the same day, arriving here as above. The Ashley steamed southwards at about 11.30 this morning. The ketch Eagle sailed for Poverty Bay today, with a general cargo, The s.s. Keera, hence at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, was sighted off Gable End Foreland at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. The s.s. City of Melbourne, from Sydney, arrived at Auckland at 7 o'clock last Sunday morning, aud was on the point of leaving-for Honolulu when the Lord Ashley left. The s.B. Auckland left Auckland for the J?ijis o.n the 6th inst, The s.s. Airedale and the s.s. Phoebe, both from Southern Ports, arrived at the Manukau on the 6th and 7th inst. respectively, H.M.'s p.s. Virago, from Sydney, arrived at Auckland on the 7th inst.
