Wednesday, Oct. 26. The ship James Nicol Fleming has arrived here after a passage of 84 days from Glasgow. The trial of the case, Anderson t\ Burke, occupied eleven days. The jury have not agreed. The Germans here have collected close upon £3OO towards the relief of the sufferers by the war with the French. Of this sum, £IOO was subscribed in one day. The body of a man, with several wounds on his throat, has been found at Mataura. An inquest having been held, the jury returned an open verdict.
