The s.s. K>era, Oapt. Bain, left Auckland at 3.30 p.m. on the 17th inst., and met with scrong easterly winds across the Bay of Plenty. On tne 19th, brought up Under Cape Runaway for shelter. Left again at 8 p.ni. on the 20th. At midnight, encountered a fierce gale frpin the southward ; ran for Kawakawa for pnelier. Resumed her voyage at 3.3 d p.m. on the 25th; had light easterly winds, and the anchorage in Ahurin roads at 6 o'clock |ast evening, entering the Iron Pot at once. — Tfee £eera ieavea lor Auckland this evening at £ali-pa.Bt sjx.

The p.a, Comerang, Captain Olirisp, left Auckland on last Saturday week, at 5 p.m., with strong N.E. gale. When abreast of White Island, at 2 a.m. on Monday, in consequence of heavy B. gale and sea running, had to put into Tauranga; remained there till Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock From thence to the Kawakawa roadatead fine weather, when the wind changed to the S.E., blowing a heavy gale, with squalls of rain, hailstones and lightning j remained there till Sunday, when, at 8 p.m. she started afresh, rounding the East Cape at 9.30 p.m., from thence to Napier fine weather, arriving here at 6 o'clock last evening. Since the Comerang left here last she has has made a very successful trip, having beaten her contemporary the s.s. Keera by two days six hours. The schooners Strathnaver and Tawera were at Kawakawa when the' Comerang left.—The Comerang leaves for Auckland direct at 9 O'clock to-morrow morning. The s.s. Lord Ashley, Captain Andrews, left Auckland at 5 p.m. on the 24th instant, and arrived at Tauranga at 7 a.m. on the 25th. Discharged cargo find passengers, and left Tauranga at 3 p.m. the same day, and arrived here at 8 o'clock last night. During the first part of the passage experienced light winds, and squally weather during the latter part. — The Ashley steamed for Southern Ports at 2 p.m. to-day. The three»masted schooner Ocean Wave, Captain Galbraith, left Kennedy's Bay at midnight on the 21st inst., with fresh southerly winds. Passed White Island on the 22nd On 23rd and 24th had strong southerly gales and heavy sea. Passed East Cape on the 25th ; from thence to Portland Island had fresh easterly winds, anchoring in the roadatead at 12 o'clock last evening. The schooner Canterbury took her departure yesterday morning, for Picton, in ballast, having been detained at this port for severul days in consequence of southerly weather aud heavy sea both inside and outside the Bay. Tlie schooner Herald leaves for Auckland via Maina to-morrow evening. Tlie s.s. Rangatira, from Wellington, may be expected here to-morrow evening. From the Auckland papers we observe that the schooner Onehungu, from Napier, had arrived, and transhipped the whole of her cargo into the ship Argvleshire, for London. The s.s. Hero left Auckland for Sydney and Melbourne on the 22nd inst. Upwaivia of 100 passengers—moso of whom are on their way to the Queensland diggings —proc.eded by her. The barque Santon, for New York, left Auckland on the 22nd inst., with a cargo of flax, guui, &a, valued at £9,504. A ship's head-board, bearing the words "Firth of Clyde," was picked up ataea on the 29th June. This vessel sailed from Latnbash for Auckland and Wellington on the 16th Ju e, and was spoken off Tory on the 22nd of the same month.
