Hawke's Bay Times. Nullius addictus jurare in verba magistri. THURSDAY, AUGUST 25, 1870.
It lias been pretty generally understood by the outside public that negociations were being made for the purchase of the copyright and busi ness of this journal. We are now in a position to state that, for reasons whiph it is unnecessary here to mention, these negotiations are at an end ; and therefore take this opportunity of informing our friends and subscribers that there will be no change, either of proprietary or management. We, however, contemplate commencing the next quarter with an additional issue per week. This, we believe, will operate for public conve nience, and help to supply what appears to be at present required. We need only add further that, as heretofore, our efforts will be <o furnish the Hawke's Bay public with a journal worthy of its increasing patronage, which, we doubt not, we shall con tinue to receive.
