AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. (Reports to July 1.) [CAIIKY,-GILLES, AKD HUA'TEII.] Horses. —Tlie market lias continued depressed, the stamp offered being: very inferior. On Saturday nu unusually small number were disposed of at attctiou. Hacks sold from £6 l?2s fid to £J(.i. Fodder.—An average supply was brought forward, but competition was scarcely so good as of late. Hay sold from £3 to £5 per ton. Cattle.—Dairy cows have been brought forward in increased numbers, and sold "readily at a slight advance. Store stock are unequal to requirements, and prices have an upward tendency. Eat beasts have been penned in adequate numbers, and sold freely, top sorts fully maintaining last week's quotations. Dairy cows sold from £l2 12s (id to £ls; l-£ year old steers and heifers, £5 to £5 12s 6d ; calves, from £2 15s to £3 ss; 3 year old ;steers, £7 to £7 17s 6d; beef, 35s per lOOfts. Sheep.— The market has been supplied with little values. Hali-breds sold from 13s to 15s 3d. Pigs.—A large number were penned, and met good competition, last week's prices being fullysustained.
