Te Kooti was reported to be within 50 miles of Poverty Bay on the 28th ult.; and Ropata, at the head of some 300 Ngatiporous, was in pursuit, having left Tologa Bay on the 27th ult. It is to be hoped that the news of some decisive action will shortly reach us.
