Rain.—A very refreshing fall of rain took place yesterday. These directions will prove very ac ceptable to mariners sailing in these unknown seas. Total Abstinence Society.—A meeting of this society was held on Tuesday evening) 12th April, in the Presbyterian School-room,MrM'Yay in the chair, to appoint office bearers, and arrange future meeting".
