The Missing Ship Matoaka.— In our last issue we mentioned that the ship Matoaka was reported as having arrived at London ; but we regret, to find that the accuracy of the information is open to doubt, the telegram being susceptible of two readings. The version given by '.he Melbourne Argus is as follows : "London, lOchDec.^—Arrived, Ramsay and Matoaka, which had been posted at Lloyd's as missing." The special telegram in the Sydney Morning Herald reads thus: "London, 10th Dec.—Arrived, Ramsay; Matoaka posted at Lloyd's as missing." We sincerely hope the former version is the correct one. The news of her arrival was received with great rejoicing in Canterbury, where many of her passengers were well known and respected,
