Te Kooti is said to be at Qnehunga, on the Ngaue stream, about two days' march from Tokongamutu, with a force of 300 men. The king sent Aporo to Te Kooti, asking him to come to Tokongamutu. Te Kooti refused. Topine is considei ed doubtful. Kemp and Topia, with a force of 500 men, left Utupu on Monday, 20 th inst., for Topine's place, determined on catching Te Kooti.
