VELOCIPEDES.
TO THE EDITOR OE THE HAWKE'S BAY TIMES. Sir,—Whilst admitting that velocipedes may be very useful locomotives in their way, T, with others, scarcely think that it is altogether safe for a person mounted on one of these " iron steeds" to race about on a place where a number of men, women, and children are congregated, especially on a dark night, as was the case on Christmas Eve. Hoping the practice will not be repeated, 1 beg to subscribe myself,— Nearly Kun Over.
