ARRIVAL OF THE P.S. COMERANG, WITH ENGLISH NEWS TO 22nd OCTOBER.
I Times Oince, 6 p.m. The favorite stock steamer Come jrang, Capt. T. Chrisp, from Auckland, ai rived in harbor at 7 o'clock jthis morning. She was the bearer of news by the English October Mail reached in Auckland by the s.s. JEero from Sydney. The Comerang left Auckland at 5 p.m. on Friday last, 3rd inst., rounded the East jCape at 3.30 a.m. on Sunday, and arrived at Poverty Bay at 3 p.m. the same day; landed the following passengers: —Archdeacon Williams, Mr and Mrs Evans, and Miss Davis. Left Poverty Bay at 4 p.m., and arrived here as above.
Passengers—Messrs Garland and Saunders.
I Cargo—ls tons general. [(From the Sydney Herald King George's Souud Telegraphic Correspondent.) Adelaide, Nov. 23.
The A.S.N. Company's branch mail steamer Alexandra, Capt. Grainger, arrived off Glenelg, at 6.30 this raorning. The down passage to the Sound occupied 111 bonis, and the up passage 122 hours. The R.M.S. Malta, Captain Skotlowe, reached the Sound at midLight on the 17th inst., having left ftalle on 9th November.
The Geelong left the Sound foi Dalle on the 16 th hist.
