Tho wools catalogued to date amount to 137,410 bales, of wbicb Port riiilip sends 27.230, Tasmania 6,952, South Australia 12,556, New Zealand 81,896, and the Cape 27,061. The position of the market is in the main unaltered; what thero is of change is for tho better. Good Victorian ileeco shows a rise of one half-penny; washed, one penny. For greasy and scoured Victorian, no higher than June rates. All kind 3of (Sydney are in good request, and sell readily at an advance of/i to mon June rates. Victorian fleece is quoted at l/3£ to l/9£; greasy, /0 to 110$. September 23. The wool sales continue firm at an advance of /l to 11$ on former rates. 80,000 bales have been taken for tho Continent. The demands of tho trade are increasing, and future prospects favourable.
