Gold.—A Ballarat speculator has gone to inspect a gold-field reported to be found in Tasmania. Fenianism in Melbourne.—Mr Kinnealey, the released .Fenian from Western Australia, is giving the Melbourne authorities considerable trouble, —or rather, they are putting themselves to what many consider much unnecessary trouble about him. The latest Australian telegrams have several references to him :—" A. vessel has been chartered to bring his compatriots to Melbourne from Western Australia. Kinnealey has been ordered to leave Melbourne within a week ; notice of appeal has been given. The magiscrates have stated a case for the opinion of the Supreme Court."
