Captain Fox informs us that the ' friendly natives have again warned tin Europeans to bo ready in the event of aj attack by Te Kooti. The friendly Maori] " are so convinced that Te Kooti is coming , that they leave their wkaiea every night ' and sleep in the fern. A party of friendly natives have taken up a position at tin j pilot station. Captain Fox observed a number of fires at the back of Whakatans '■ on Thursday night. , Export or Gold.—The s.s. Hero left for Sydney on the Ist August, with 5,530 ' ozs. 3 dwts. and 18 grs. of Thames gold, * shipped by the Bank of New Zealand, and valued at £23,200. She also took one par> : eel of silver. The Kate was to leave for : Sydney on the 2ud August, with 1000 ozs, of god. Funeral op Mr Cameron. —The re< mains of Mr Cameron were on Saturday last deposited in the Presbyterian burisl gronnd, Symonds-street.
