Bendall, for Auckland, with 60 head cattle, 400 sheep, Broadbent & Cadman.—Watt Brothers, agents The p.s. Sturt, Captain Fairchild, from Wairoa, arrived in port at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday last. She left Napier at 2 p.m. on the 10th, with light winds; crossed the Wairoa bar at 7. a.m. on the 11th, there being a heavy sea on at the time. Proceeded up to Clyde, and waited there two days for the Ngatiporou to be paid off. On the 13th, took on board about 170 Maoris, which were transhipped on to the St. Kilda outside the heads. Left for Napier at 10 a.m., and arrived here as above, having towed up the schooners Hero and Muriwai. The Sturt steamed for Wairoa again at a late hour last night. The schooner Saucy Lass, Captain M'Gregor, from Auckland via Kennedy's Bay, arrived in port about noon yesterday. She brings a cargo of timber, doors, mouldings, &c, consigned to Mr J. LeQuesne.
