We understand that in the absence of Mr Henderson, Mr Martin has amended the offer made by the Circular Saw Corn pany to purchase the assets of the N.Z.S.N. Company recently made. Mr Martin now offers £23,100 for the ships and all ship's stores the hulks, slip, cradle, land and buildings freehold and leasehold, together •with the benefit* of the present insurance on vessels and buildings belonging to the company. A meeting of shareholders will shortly take place, and there is every reason to believe that the offer of Mr Martin, who has throughout manifested & desire to treat, with the greatest fairness, not to say liberality, will be accepted, and the vessels transferred to the Circular Saw Company.-*-Evening Post, June 14-
