Major Green has been placed on the unattached list of the Napier Militia at his own request. Sealed Tenders will be received at the Superintendent's office up to noon on Saturday next, 3rd April, for (1) delivery of about 4,000 feet sawn timber on the road from "Waipawa to the "Waipawa Gorge; (2) building bridges over the Mangamai-j ri and its tributary, near Messrs. Sfcj Hill and Drury's ; and (3) for driving 65 fender piles in front of the Quay Wall, Eastern Spit.
