The enquiry, a semi-private one, "will probably last all the week in Bangitikei, and will then be adjourned to Wellington for the examination of the witnesses who reside there. In addition to examining witnesses, papers &c, the Commissioners will also ride over the country in the line said to have been taken by Tficker. There is a reason to hope that, at length, something practical will come of this fatter.
