FEBRUARY. 11—Ahuriri, s.s., 131 tons, Plowerday, for Auckland with 3 eases drapery, Doitsh ; 25 cases raspberry vinegar, Stuart & Co ; and original cargo from Southern Ports.—Kinross & Co, agents. 12—Little Fred, schooner. 131 tons, Davis, for Auckland, with 15 casks tallow, Watt Brothers, (agents.) The s.s. Star of the South, Capt. Bendall, left Auckland on the 6th Feb. at 7 p.m., and experienced light winds with fine weather till off White Island on the 7th at 3 p.m., when the wind set in from E.S.E., blowing hard. At 4 a.m. on the Bth, dropped anchor in Kawakawa roads, where she lay duriug a strong S.E. gale, which continued until the morning of the 10th, when, the weather having considerably moderated, resumed the voyage. Strong easterly weather was experienced down the coast, with very heavy sea. Was off Ahuriri Bluff at 3 a.m. on the 11th (Thursday last), and entered the Iron Pot at daylight. The Star brought a general cargo, the race-horse Orlando, and 7 passengers. We have to thank Capt. Bendall for delivery of files and parcels. This favorite steamer will leave again for Auckland this day (Monday) with a cargo of sheep. The three-masted schooner Little Fred, Captain Davis, sailed for Auckland on Saturday last, with 15 casks tallow. The brigautine Mary Ann entered the Iron Pot on Saturday evening. The s.s. Ahuriri steamed for Auckland on Thursday last at 5.30 p.m. 'I he fine barque Excelsior, Capt. 11. Wood, took her departm*e for London with a cargo of wool yesterday.

AUCKLAND SHIPPING. [l"R03I OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Gth February. ' The favorite scohoner Saucy Lass, Captain D. H. M'Kenzio. left port on the 4th inst., for Napier via. Mahurangi. She will convey to your port 100.000 shingles, 3,000 feet tcnirued and grooved timber 2,000 feet sawn timber, &c. The s.s. Lord Ashley, now flying the Circular Saw flag, arrived here a few days since from Sydney, where she has been undergoing extensive alterations and repairs. She will probably leave for Napier and Southern Ports duridg next week. The Ashley will be commanded by Captain 11. Worsp, a gentleman who is well-known throughout the Colony as an able navigator and thorough gentleman Mr Tattersall, formerly second officer, willl now be chief officer; while Mr Monkmon is still purser. The ship Countess of Kintore is rapidly filling up for London, with wool, gum, flax. &c, and wi 1 leave here about the 27th iust., a full ship. The brig Lady Denison leaves here this evening, and is expected to return shortly with another cargo of wool for the Countess. The ship Queen Bee will follow for London early in March. Tha ship Maori is now 110 days out from London and has not yet ai rived. The schooner Piery Cross sailed for Mercury Bay this morning to load timber for Lyttelton. The barque Australasian Packet sailed for TFangapoa to-d;ty there to load 80,000 feet timber for Hobart Town. The barque Atlantic has sailed today for Hokiauga to load junk timber for Melbourne.
