THE HAWKE'S BAY TIMES is published every MONDAY and THURSDAY, and contains the latest Commercial, Shipping, Local, and General News, the state of the Markets and all other important intelligence, and has an EXTENSIVE CIRCULATION OVER THE PROVINCE AND THROUGHOUT THE COLONY. Advertisers will, therefore, find the HAWKE'S BA¥ TIMES a desirable medium for making their wants known to the public, and the commercial portion of the community will lind it advantageous in giving notice of Merchandise, Prouce, Stock, <fcc, for sale. Terms of Advertising.— One Shilling per every half inch or under for the first insertion ; and for each subsequent insertion, half price. Quarterly advertisements, per contract. Cards, not exceeding halt - au inch, 10s 6d per quarter. Advertisement* should be left at the office, on the Spit, not later than (J o'clock on the evenings of Wednesday and Saturday. Orders for withdrawal or alteration of advertisements not later than noon, to ensure attention. All advertisements should state the number of times they are to be inserted, and whether once or twice weekly. Those not containing this notification will be continued and charged for until countermanded.
