The returns wilt be classified under the head of each electoral district, and, if accurately filled up, will give a good deal of valuable information. Of course the totals of eaeh electoral district only will be given, and not those of any particular holding, or even parish. Each occupier of more than one acre of land will be invited to fill up a form, and sign it, so as to ensure complete accuracy. The returns of this character are found in other countries to be very valuable. The United States Government publishes the fullest statistics regularly of this character. They are found to be capital advertising mediums, ehowing the psosperity and advancement of the country, and how excellent a field it is there« foro for the emigrant. In Ireland a very complete return connected with agriculture is obtained through the agency of the police. The accuracy of the return will depend upon occupiers, and as the returns will be afterwards published, giving a basis of comparison between one electoral district and another, and form a basis o.f comparison in future years, it is desirable that as striot accuracy as possible should be secured,
