NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. TO CONTRACTORS. THE Telegraph Commissioner is prepared to receive tenders for the erection of a Post and Telegraph Office at Waipawa. Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of Ton Pounds sterling as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer, if in Iho event of his tender being accepted, he refuse to take up the contract. Each tender must include the names of two sureties for approval, who arc willing to become bond for the duo performance of the work in the event of the tender being accepted, and must be accompanied by a notification to that effect signed by the sureties. Plans and specifications can be seen, and all information obtained, by application to Mr Bold, Telegraph Office, Napier, or at the store of Mr Rathbone, Waipawa Tenders, endorsed “Tenders for erection of a Post and Telegraph office,” ana addressed to E. H. Bold, Esq, Telegraph Surveyor, Telegraph Office, Napier, to be sent in not later than the Ist FEB R.UARY. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. By order of the Telegraph Commiseioner.
