Militia Notice.— We direct attention to an important notice in our columns this morning, appointing a parade in front of the Militia Office this afternoon at 2 p.m. Presentation. —An interesting ceremony took place on Tuesday evening last, on the occasion of Mr S. T. G reenwell, the late Superintendent of the Presbyterian Sabbath School, who is about to leave the colony, taking leave of the scholars. Mr Greenweli has been for five years connected with the school, and the teachers and scholars had purchased a handsome walnut dres-sing-case and writing-desk as a parting gift. The meeting was opened by singing, after which the Rev. Mr Morice, with a few suitable remarks, presented Mr Greenweli with the testimonial in the name of the teachers and scholars. Mr Greenweli in reply thanked the school for so substantial a mark of their esteem, and expressed his regret at having so soon to leave them. After a short address to the scholars by Mr Stables, the meeting closed with singing and prayer.
