ARRIVAL OP THE AHURIRI. The s.s. Ahuriri, Captain ITnwerday, arrived in port at B pan. on Tuesday last, with a full cargo and five passengers. Lett Lyttelton at 3. to pan. on Friday, 30lh October: arrived at Wellington at 2.15 pan. on the following day. Left Wellington at U pan. on Monday, 2nd November, and arrived here as above. Strong head winds were experienced throughout the pas-aigc. The Ahuriri steamed northwards at 10 o’clock last evening. MISCELLANEOUS. The Star of the South, with sheep, steamed for Mahia yesterday morning, she may bo expected to return about Saturday, with a cargo of wool. The Hero sailed for Wairoa on Tuesday night with a full cargo. The Wellingiou, with the English Mail via. Panama, steamed southwards at 1 p.m. on Monday last. The s.s. Lord Ashley may be expected to arrive from Southern Ports on Tuesday next, and will steam for Auckland on Wednesday.
