We have to thank Capt. Campbell, of file brigantine ‘ Esther/ for a Wellington Independent of Tuesday last, 2nd June, extracts from which will be found elsewhere. In another column will be found “The Volunteers and Militia Remission Certificate Act, ISGS,” introduced in the Provincial Council on Wednesday last by Mr Buchanan, and which was read a second time on Thursday last.
