KENNEDY’S BAY.
P.T the arrival of the cutter Betsy, from Kennedy’s Bay, on Monday Inst, wo have intelligence up to the 2oih ulf. As yet there is nothing of striking importance to record. A largo number of diggers are on •he field, an hotel lias been erected, as also some half-dozen stores, and the greatest confidence in the richness of the new H Dorado prevails among the seores of experienced miners who are daily flocking there. We understand upon reliable authority, however, that, like the Thames, the Kennedy’s Bay gold-field is of quartz formation. The s.s. Wellington, due here on Sunday from the North, will probably bring us some intelligence of au important character. As will bo seen by advertisement, the favorite cutter Betsy is on the berth for Kemn dy’s Bay, to sail on Saturday next, Gth June. Should sufficient inducement oiler, Captain Trimmer will not call on the Fast Coast, but proceed direct to the diggings.
