a case of injustice his wiff, has suffered at the Ite.-iUcnt- Magistrate's Court, in that she was taheu from her it-use (he being absent) without warrant or notice of any kind, and summarily condemned to punishment on a charge been permitted to call witnesses or obtain legal advice ; as also that his application for a re-beating of the case has been refused by the He.-ideni Magistrate. Mr Searles should lay a statement of his grievance before a higher antborfy. The publication of his letter in our columns could do no good.
