Worthy of Imitation*. — We learn from the Wellirgton papers that the Town Board of that City proposed to devote £SOO of the rate-payers’ funds to the expenses of Prince Alfred’s visit, but this purpose being negatived by those concerned, a voluntary subscription v.as made for the purpose. The Evening Post informs us that the following gentlemen have contributed the sums set opposite to their names to aid in giving him a proper reception; —W. B. Khocic-s, £SO; E. !
