Government Advertisements. im PROCLAMATION. By his Honor Dohaed M’Leasi, Esquire, [ Bupeniite"dent ot the Province of Hawke’s Bay, iu the Islands of New Zealand. WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly, intituled “The Hawke’s [Bay Waste Laud Regulations Amendment I Act, 1865,” it is enacted that all waste lands of the Crown in the said Province not heretofore proclaimed as open for selection or sale, shall, before being proclaimed as open for selection or sale, be classified as follows by the Commissioner of Crown 'Lands;— 1 Class 1 shall comprise lands suitable for ownships or for special settlement. Class 2 shall comprise lands suitable for agricultural settlement. Class 8 shall comprise land suitable for pastoral purposes, Aud whereas there are no lands within the boundaries of the land described iu the Schedule hereunto annexed suitable for townships, or for special settlement, orfor agricultural settlements; and whereas by the said Act it is further enacted that all the lands comprised iu Class 3 aforesaid shall be divided into blocks suitable for runs, and offered for lease for terms of 14 years by public auction — Now, therefore, I, the said Donald M'Leau, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby notify and proclaim that the land comprised in tho said Hirst Schedule, hereunto annexed, will be offered to be leased by public auction for a term of fourteen years, at the Crown Lands Office in Napier, on THURSDAY, the twenty-third day of April next, at noon, iu the lots set forth in the Second Schedule, hereunto annexed, and that t lie person who shall bid the highest for each lot shall become the lessee of the same ; and I further notify that the sums of money set against each lot shall represent fire lowest rent which will be accepted for each lot. All that parcel of land, containing about SOCK) acres, more or less, of the Nuhaka Block. The boundaries are as follow : Towards the north by 39 U parallel of latitude, forming the northern boundary ! of the Province of Hawke’s Bay; towards tho oast by native land, the Kapuawhara Biock, and by that portion known by the name of lhaka’s Reserve; towards the south by tho sea, aud by the eastern portion of the Rural Section of Waibua; and towards the west by tho said sections and by tho Nuhaka River. i All that parcel of land in tho 1 Wairoa District, containing by admeasurement 5 5300 acres more or less. Boundaries : —Towards the north by Rural Section j ofTuriroa, Nos. 9, 10, 11, and 12; east, ‘ by Rand Section of Wairoa, Nos. 8,9, 10, 11, aud 12; south, by Rural Section of Potulu, from Nos. 1 to 15 inclusive ; r and west, fay Crown land and Rural 1 Section of Turiroa, Nos. 27, 33, aud 1 35. ' Also 0.1 l that parcel of land, in tho district j aforesaid, containing by admeasurement about 9000 acres, more or less. Bonni darics: —Towards the north, by tho boundary of the province, latitude 39 0 south ; towards the cast, by Rural SecI tkns of Turiroa, Nos. 22, 24, 26, 30, 31, ', 3-1, aud 36, and by Crown land ; towards the south, by Rural Sections Nos. 17 and ; 18, W’aihua; towards tho south-west and west, by the back line of the Rural I Sections of tho Waihua aud the Waihua 1 River. All that parcel of land, containing 1000 acres, more or less, known as the Moemigiaugi Reserve. Boundaries ;-Towards I the north ami south, by portion of tha i Moeangiiingi Block; east by the sea; and ,! west, by too road from Napier to tho Wairoa! Exclusive of a reserve, containing about 10 acres, near the mouth of the Moeuugiangi River. All that parcel, known as the Manga- - haruru Block, containing by admeasurement 7760 acres, more or less; situated on the eastern slope of the Mangabaruni Range, bounded —north, by nativeland; ![ cast, by the Te-Awa te-Matea Stream, ’ the Opawclie Lake, and Waipapa Stream; and towards the south by native 9 ; Land.
