The s.s, Abunri, Captain Plowcrday, duo this day from Tauranga and Auckland, will steam for Southern Provinces to morrow with the English Mail via Suez. i The ship Maori, Captain Roberts, arrived at Auckland oil the sth hist., after a tedious passage of 112 days. She brought out alarge general cargo (a portion of which is for Napier) and 113 passengers. Tne Circular Saw barque Novelty, Captain Nearing, arrived at Auckland on the Sth inst., making the run in 92 days. She brought out a larre general cargo and 11 passengers. Among her cargo we notice—l 9 cases, J. TV. Cowing, The Southern Cross, of the Sth instant, savs;— Owing to the severe weather of the past few'days coasting and other vessels have suffered some detention, and there were no entries or clearances passed at Her Majesty’s Customs yesterday, a cir- ■ cumstance which wo do not remember to have ; occurred before.
