Hawke's Bay Times.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 1868. THE INWARD MAILS.
" Nulliut addict us jitrare in verba wig'shi"
Both inward mails arrived yesterday afternoon by the s.s. Lord Ashley. Via Suez we have papers to the 26th Nov.; and telegraphic news to the 7th Dec. via Suez and to the IGth via Panama.l A full epitome of news will be found! elsewhere. That which will most of all interest our readers is a further reduction in the price of wool at the sales opened on the 14th November. This, 1 we fear, will seriously affect many ofj our fellow-settlers—especially should it j continue to faU.
Amongst the names of the passengers per Panama steamer, w r e notice that of Mr C. Nairn, for Napier.
