I, Donald M'Lean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that the land described in the annexed schedule will bo open for public selection under the Regulations of the 4th day of March, 1853, and the additional Land Regulations of the 15th February, 1855, at the Land Office, Napier, on and after Wednesday, the 27th of November, 1867. Dated this sixteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixlyseven. DONALD M'LEAN, Superintendent. SCHEDULE REFERRED TO. All that parcel of land in the Province of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 1,800 acres, more or less, known as as the Matau, being portion of the Takapan Block. Boundaries: —Starting on the South bank of the Makaretu river, at the northwest point of the western boundary of Johnston’s Ruataniwha freehold; thence up that, river to a peg on the south bank aforesaid, opposite Mr Roy’s whare ; and following the linos bearing 157 degrees, 975 links; 172 degrees, 1420 links ; and 92 degrees to the western boundary of Mr J.
