Lonei-cated Lands. —air Ormond asked whether it was the intention of the Government to hand over the cviiliscuted land to the respective provinces ; and drew the attention of the House to the financial position of Auckland, which was ill prepared for such a result. The lion. J. C. Richmond said the land was out of the portion of tiie land confiscated under the hmd law. The Government would be glad of the assistance of Air ARLean in the matter. The Hansard. —Air A. S. Atkinson said that, although the reporters and printers had endeavoured to include the Eiiday’s debate in the Hansard, they were unable to do so.
