ALBERT CARS will leave th.e Settlers’ Hotel and the Herald Otlice, at half-past A p.m., sharp, for Meanee Church, returning to town at the close of the meeting. Tickets for the trip (to a limited extent) will be issued at 2s each, and may be had of Mr Johx Marshall or Mr Jamls Wood. Mr Marshall has kindly offered the use of a grass paddock on his farm (within half a mile of the church and on the roadside) for all horses that may come from a distance. Saddles can also be left at the farm-house. It is earnestly hoped that friends from Napier and inland will shew, by their attendance, that they sympathise with the efforts of the settlers to place this infant church on a more secure footing than it has latterly been. i/TEANEE PRESBYTERIAN yJL CHURCH. ANNIVERSARY TEA MEETING. The Anniversary of the opening of the Presbyterian Church, Meanee Flat, will bo celebrated by a TEA MEETING, to he held in the Church, on, the evening of TUESDAY, 17th inst. TEA at 6 p.m.—Chair to betaken at 7. In the course of the evening several pieces of sacred music will bo sung, and addresses delivered. Tickets;—3s 6d each for adults, and 2s for children, may be obtained in Napier at Mr Sutton’s, Mr Marshall’s (oiettlers Hotel), and at the Times and Herald Offices.
