It cures diseases of the chest scrofula, lym{ihatio disorders, green sickness, muscuar atony, and loss of appetite, it regenerates the constitution by purifying the blood, and is, in a word, the most powerful depurative known. It never fatigues the Stomach and bowels like the lodide o( Iron and the lodide of Potassium, and is administered with the greatest efficacy to young children subject to humors, or obstruction of the glands. Pepsine is the gastric juice itself, or rather the digestive principle purified, which digests food in the stomach. No more Copaiba or Ccrers. — Capmlei of 31a'ico Veyetalis ; also Liquid Extract of JUaiico. —These elegant preparations effect rapid and extraordinary cures ol recent and old, and severe cases of disease. They are used in all the Hospitals of Pans by the celebrated Dr K ieoi d, and are found greatly superior to all preparations oi Copaiba, Cubebs, &c., end Mineral Kennedies.
