O H. jby uOSisPH Rhojoxs, Eso., DepulySuperinieudeut of iLe Province; of Hawke’s Buy, hi the Islands of •VT- gaaland * i 1, JOSEPH IiHODES, Depuly-cuumiu-' of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim that a sale of Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands Office, Kapier, on Wednesday, 26th Jnne, 1867, ai noon precisely, when the allotments of land specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed, except such as may be reserved under the provision herinafter mentioned, and which have been duly certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands on tho application of intending purchasers as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to public auction at the upset price of ss. per acre, in accordance with the Land Regulations of the 4th March, 1853, and the additional Regulations for the amendment and extension of the said Regulations recommended by the Superintendent and the Council for the Province of Wellington (Session 2) to the Governor. If at any time during the sale it may appear to tho Commissioner of Crown Lauds beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of .!.e. sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order m which they are to he put up, he is hereby authorised to do so. A Block at or near the entrance to the 10-mile Bush, comprising about acres. 2. A Block of 12,000 acres at Table Cape. h. Suburban Allotments at th« Ngaru roro Bridge. 4. 500 acres of Agricultural Land at NV aikari. 5. SUO acres of Rural Land at Te Wai roa. G. 400 acres of Bush Land at the Pohui. 7 Block containing 1,905 acres of rich Agricultural Land, situated on the main line of road and in the centre of the Ahuriri Plains, distant about 2 miles south of the Town of Havelock, and about 16 miles from the Town of Napier. The size of the several allotments in each of the Blocks specilicd, and date of sale, will be duly notified in the ‘Provincial Government Gazette.’ Block 7 will belaid off into sections varying from 40 to 200 acres.
