It cures disease of the chest, scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss of appetite; it regenerates the constitution by purifying the blood ; and is, in a word, the most powerful depurative known. It never fatigues the stomach and bowels like the iodide of potassium and the iodide of iron, and is administered with the great est efficacy to young children subject to humors or obstruction of the glands.
